Promotions terms and conditions

Kaplan accommodation – Licence Fee Discount Promotional Terms: 

1. References to “our” and “we” and “us” shall mean Kaplan International Colleges U.K. Limited, whose registered office is at Palace House, 3 Cathedral Street, London, England, SE1 9DE and references to “you” shall mean a full-time student who intends to book a room in one of the Eligible Residences (defined below), subject to the below terms.  

2. Subject to availability, this promotion applies to certain of our residences in London, Glasgow and Nottingham listed below (“the Eligible Residences”): 

• London: (1) Chapter Lewisham; (2) Scape Canada Water; (3) Scape Shoreditch; (4) Urbanest Hoxton; (5) Urbanest Tower Bridge; and (6) Vega;  

• Glasgow: (1) Kaplan Living, Old Dumbarton Road; (2) Kaplan Living, Argyle Street; (3) Kyle Park House; and (4) West Village; and 

• Nottingham: Kaplan Living, Bromley Place.  

3. Subject to availability, this promotion applies to licence agreements for our Eligible Residences which: 
   • have start dates falling in either September or October 2023; and  
   • are signed on or between the dates listed at clause 4 below.  
4. Ordinarily, when you book a room in one of our Eligible Residences, you would be responsible for the payment of a fixed licence fee (payable in instalments), regardless of when you move in. For example, this would usually mean that even if you moved into a room in an Eligible Residence after the academic year or academic term began (depending on your circumstances), you would be responsible for paying the licence fee to cover the entire academic year or academic term, even for the period you did not live there. However, subject to our full terms and conditions, if you sign a licence agreement with us on or between the following dates (provided that your licence agreement has a start date falling in either September or October 2023)

• 9 September 2023 and 15 September 2023, you will be entitled to a discount equivalent to one (1) weeks’ worth of your licence fee; or  

• 16 September 2023 and 22 September 2023 you will be entitled to a discount equivalent to two (2) weeks’ worth of your licence fee; or
• 23 September 2023 and 13 October 2023, you will be entitled to a discount equivalent to three (3) weeks’ worth of your licence fee where your licence agreement has a start date falling in September or two (2) weeks worth of your licence fee where your licence agreement has a start date falling in October; or
• 30 September 2023 and 13 October 2023, you will be entitled to a discount equivalent to four (4) weeks’ worth of your licence fee where your licence agreement has a start date falling in September or two (2) weeks’ worth of your licence fee where your licence agreement has a start date falling in October (the “Discount”).

5. Depending on how many weeks’ worth of your licence fee is being discounted, the Discount will apply to the first seven (7), fourteen (14), twenty-one (21) or twenty-eight (28) days of your licence agreement.  

6. Please be aware that you are not able to move into a room in our Eligible Residences until after you have signed your licence agreement. 

7. In order to be eligible for the Discount, you must have completed all of the relevant pre-booking steps, including (but not limited to) signing your licence agreement, paying the first instalment of your licence fee and nominating a guarantor, where applicable. All of the necessary pre-conditions will be advised to you when you confirm to us that you would like to book a room in one of the Eligible Residences.  

8. Students who signed their licence agreement for a room in one of the Eligible Residences before 9 September 2023 are not eligible to receive the Discount.  

9. This Discount is strictly subject to availability – once all rooms in an Eligible Residence are fully booked, that residence shall no longer be an Eligible Residence.
